Given the current situation, I asked AI for a Canadian replacement to 3DS Max. It suggested Maya. My path to Max user was: Autodesk Autoshade for AutoCAD 10 - 3D Studio for MS-DOS - 3DSMax R1. I wish it was different

I have always considered United States of America as beacon of freedom. Now it has aligned itself with countries like Russia, North-Korea and China in their battle against the free world. I just heard, that the US is using kill switch to make defense material delivered by the previous administration unusable. I think we've seen only the beginning of the US led anti-western sentiments.
We had domestic solution some twenty years ago. I got good demonstration to Real 3D at the Siggraph97:

At the moment, I'm mostly concerned that the new best friends of the United States of America tell their great leader to pull the plug of the license server of 3DS Max regarding western world. I had good conversation with AI and it concluded, it's totally possible. Maybe Europeans should build own version of 3DSMax. I already have a name for it: 3DA Three Dimensional Atelier.Comment

Blender is quite popular here. Only we fossilis are still using Max, but Younger generation seems to be using Blender.Comment
