  • Relief Mapping

Normal mapping is out, relief mapping is in. This is some serious bump.

In quick testing it is compatible with V-Ray & V-Ray lights, shadows, mats and GI.

if you do an environment light only render its not taking the mapping into account really. i havent tested with a dome light but i assume since the dome light is a light source then it will work. i was just using the environment slot.

Yes, it only creates it's own self shadow correctly even with a dome light. Still it is fast and could work well in many situations.
