Extrapolating from the Benchmarking thread where the dual 275's were rending in about 3min 20 sec- this thing at 8-280's would render the test scene in about 45 seconds. Not realtime mind you, but pretty friggin' fast! A small renderfarm of 10 4200 x2's though would render in about 30 seconds with DR for about a third of the pricewww.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

However, it's more convenient this way. Lightcache would cruise. Plus that nice tan you can get from opening the side of the case.

Ahah, i'd LOVE a tan from my pc.
It'd sort many problems regarding my pale colour (CRT monitors don't tan, unfortunately )
A riser card? Just how many pins has it got to have? What's the bandwidth?
I hated risercards from the early times compaq (long live!) adopted it on early systems...
Incredible bottlenecks, they were...
