  • Edit Poly hot keys in Max 8

Is it just me or is anyone else annoyed that in Max 8 if you have an editable poly selected, all the view port hotkeys - i.e. P for perspective, T for top are now assigned to making editable poly changes - T is now tesselate etc. etc.

It's really slowing down the way i work, can i just resort back to Max 7's hotkeys or anything?

I give in, where's the keyboard override button then?

it's on the hidden "Extras's" floating toolbar - just right click in an empty space on the main toolbar, and from the list select extras. It's the first button with an keyboard button icon on it, next to Autogrid and Array.

If you are not affraid of using german shortcuts or reading the german description,

you can have the lichtecht shortcuts optimised for polymodelling. i assure you they are realy realy good and fast. We´ve been working on them for over three weeks to make them realy slick and logical...

so just throw me a line and ill post them.
