  • MaxScript - auto file recording

I'm not wise in the ways of MaxScript but was wondering if there was a way to have a script run automatically every time a file is opened/closed/saved that would add an entry to a log.txt file that would record the name of the Max file and when it was opened/saved/closed. I'd like to use this for time keeping purposed to track when I worked on particular files.

very straightforward using callbacks, could be scripted in a little time.
Hope i'll find it soon, might come in handy to me as well

maybe you don't even have to script something - there already are scripts out there to track the time you work on something
haven't tested them though... but it really looks useful

      track time:

generate reports from the tracked results:

Oh yeah. I forgot about that thread. What I really need is a memory management program for my brain to make it easier to remember what I forgot. I'm sure Google is working on it.

I tried the time tracking script but it doesn't appear to work with Max8. Bummer, it would have been perfect for my needs.
