maya and motionbuilder viewports are a little island on paradise for the viewport, smoooth , max one is more of a broken bus stop under the rain... pain... that's maybe why autodesk bought alias, to get their "viewport code" since max viewport is crappy since i know it...

That is most likely not the reason for the aquisition, but I do hope they take what they now have and learn from it...sooner rather than later

Has anyone had any experience with a Radeon X1900XT or X1900XTX? I need a card for WQXGA-resolution (2560x1600) and have been reccomended this, but I'm not sure how it performs in regards to 3dsMax use.
