big time gimic... a good waccom tablet beats that hands down (or pens down for that matter)

If the middle part was a jog wheel, it could possibly come in handy for video editing.

using my wacom 12x12 tablet i really have problems reaching for the keyboard for shortcuts (i'm really used to them and more or less hate to move the cursor to the tools palette to switch tools)

so that one might come handy for using it with the left hand
bit expensive though

btw: seems they were using parts of the design of 3dconnexion's space pilot/space traveller - after all its a logitech subsediary anyway
