I agree, I've installed it and like it. Haven't quite switched over from firefox but I may. I like a lot of the plugins that have been created for FF but lately the security patches ( seems firefox is not immune after all ) have broken many of those.
I had the small issue of having to completely re-install and re-authorise windows (the phone support is really quite helpful you know) when I did my laptop but everything runs oh-so-sweet now.
I'm wondering why you still trust MS and especaly IE?
We know from the past that MS was and is willing to fight against the webstandards which now start to come back with FF, opera, safari and which is good!
I'm pretty sure, we will see another desert on the web very soon when IE7 will be shipped with vista in a nonuninstallable way or come with an forced patchday.
hmm... still wonder why ppl don't want to learn from the past.
Both Netscape and IE were both pushing items which were browser specific - in some cases leading to innovation. But none I can think of off the top of my head lol.
There also used to be certain issues with updating antivirus engines particularly mcafee and also windows defender auto updates but this may have been resolved now. I like it too and am running it along side firefox.
