64-bit & Internet Connection

I've installed win64, the IE64 works fine but the IE32 doesn't...so I can't update Windows, Anti-virus, etc ....any idea?

strange. normal IE works on my boxx which has winxp64 on it

it starts but it doesn't connect to internet...I already turned firewalls off, I've installed a new network card.
It seems like this problem is very common, I've found some information at www.planetAMD64.com ....in some cases this problem comes with the nvidia firewall but I don't have it installed.

Did a little searching and all leads point to the nvidia firewall, do you have a nforce board? no network access manager listed in add/remove programs?

ewww nvidia firewall...

I cant remember how its listed in Add/Remove programs, but it maybe be under thre Nvidia Drivers entry along with all the other stuff like, video card drivers and motherboard drivers, just choose to uninstall the firewall only.

Of course it may have its own entry...
