    Hi all,

I just bought the Arroway Texture collection, each material comes
supplied with a diffuse, bump and specular map, vray material does'nt
have a specular slot so i was wondering where i need to put the specular
    map

    cheers

In the reflection slot. Reflection and specular are the exact same thing, the specular in max is just a rough approximation of how reflections from bright objects appear on non polished surfaces. Vray uses glossy reflections to do this instead which is far more accurate to how the real world works - every object is reflective to some extent, it just depends how bumpy the surface is at a fine level that will determine how mirror like the quality of the reflection is.

If you don't want the speed hit of glossy reflections, still use the reflection slot but turn off trace reflection and it'll use a faked specular highlight instead, like the max material.
