the 2nd brazilian goal was also clear offside and maybe it made a bigger difference in the end result, still everybody is mad with henry..?and what about the italian match?or the dive from figo against mexico?...thats just the way it is....no point in banging heads

If you think soccer is MINI soccer, where there's no contact between players, or the personality AND guile doesn't come into play, you're definitely deluded.

Four years ago, italy got kicked off by South Korea in entirely legit terms.
At the 90odd minute.
It's called Soccer, and the ref ANNOUNCES the minutes of recovery.
Plus the ref has BY THE RULE BOOK the ability to let a few more minutes go by if game gets interrupted in recovery time.
As for the "wait out" for the italian goal, i say go see that contact broh (a few posts back).

The ones who deserved OUT yesternite were spain.
Them, the players, and the coach. With some MASSIVE punishment inflicted onto them by the fifa.
Something that did not happen, unfortunately.
I heard the comments this "supposed" coach had for the french team and Henry in particular during Spain's training.
Unfortunately, and herein lies the scandal, spain hasn't been officialy slapped hard on the ass.
Lucky us the pitch provided an equal sporting result.

France played to perfection, and the scoreline shows it.
I think you should get off the EA videogames, and go out play more in the sunshine...

Ok I think you guys shouldn't take my posts that serious...

Time for video ref systems imo, too many matches ended because of wrong ref decisions. In the end every team will have had some things happen in their favor and some against, but I think it would be much more fun if it would be correct from the first time.

nahh...i suppose that would ruin it...
u should punish afterwards those who are misleading ref decisions, violent conduct, anti sportivism and anti fair play, etc....that would make nicer results, and still keep the flavour of this sport...

I'm glad belgium isn't in the world cup! We always do stupid things in big tournaments it seems I remember a match where we were so bad, and then we even lost our keeper with a red card and a normal player had to replace him... It's better this way, than we can comment more on other teams hehe!
