I'm not so sure the technology is designed to create a 3D model like you and I are used to. I think the purpose of the point cloud is to define where the photograph planes snap to (basically mapping an image to a plane). I wonder if it will use feature recognition to automatically place a series of image where the should be and calculate the cameras location amung them all, kind of like the camera matching tool does now in MAX? That would be kickly Assly
