anyone seen this guys work? i was pretty impressed by it

its all done in photoshop/illustrator. the chicago scene has over 15,000 layers it says
i cant imagine doing all that without the aid of 3d models or a computer to calculate the light/shadows. check out the fine art section. most of those movie theatres are very convincing as well.
of couse animations are out of the question but they're cool nonetheless.
