  • Alien Coverup?!?

I saw this on the Discovery Science Channel a few weeks back:

I started looking into this some more, and found a site on NASA where you could submit a question. This is my question and this is their senior astrobiologist's response:

    You decide...

Thats BS...theres no way that there would be panels floating anywhere near those astronauts without those guys(NASA) knowing about it. E.T...phone me!!

I guess the question is - did the panels fall off or were they jetisoned away? Seems kind of dangerous to have floating panels near the main module.

Also, if they 'concluded' that was the case, it would have to have been 'after' the mission because Aldrin says they didn't know what it was and decided to go to sleep.

It definitely didn't occur while they were orbiting the moon - that would have been a plausible explanation as there was 'space-junk' from previous missions and top-secret Russian exploration. But this was en-route...

Edit: I should add that NASA is basically implying the Discovery Science Channel program is guilty of 'lying' through crafty editing. I wouldn't put it past someone to do this for ratings...

I would not put anything past any channel as far as 'crafty' editing goes. Most of these UFO shows seem very suspect to me anyway.

But as for the proximity issues of debris near the main module, think of this. In space you have no atmospheric issues distorting and diminishing things as far as distance is concerned. Something even relatively small (compared to a rocket and space craft) reflecting the unfiltered sunlight would no doubt be visible from far greater distances than anything on earth. If those shots are through a telescope, then it sure isn't very close. Also, considering momentum, these items could easily inherit a similar trajectory to the module. I certainly don't see this video clip as proving UFO's anymore than any other clip we see splattered across TV these days. It would be fun to see that interview in its entirety though, I am fascinated by the space programs of past. I can't imagine the courage these guys would have needed to participate in them.

I know a guy who used to work for JPL

I know a guy who used to work for JPL here in sunny california. He is a molecular bioligist. Part of his job was to look for life on other planets. This guy is a total company guy ( a little bit nuts, martial arts expert ) - so I'm sure he would tell me the truth if they had they had clear cut evidence of Aliens, but he did tell me that they found bacteria on the moon, in film cans brought from earth - that was still alive any years after it had been left behind by a mission. He also hinted at bacteria that could eat no organic materials like rock and metal - I believe alot of these documentaries are much ado about nothing, but I also think there is alot of stuff out there that has yet to be fully explained.
