Yeah Max is fully installed on them as well.
This occurs whether or not both are running.
The second manager normally has no issues.
The reason we set up the second one was to hopefull alleviate
the problem on the first one and for some time it seemed to.

Manager1 has typically 30+ boxes on it and 2 has 10-12

If you only have problems with manager1, have you tried giving manager2 complete control?

Not sure I understand but for more clarification
the hardware for example has changed, completely in most cases
so they are not the "same" machines.

It appears that which ever one regardless of the machines or specs
has the most slaves and with that the most people connecting to it
        has the issue with crashing.

I like the proposal of removing the monitor from everyones box
and verifying the OS tomorrow. That way we can at least rule in or
out connections being an issue. I have always had concerns about
network stability mainly because it is an uknown factor.

They run on two completely different machines and I think on different
network segments, but I cannot be sure of that have to consult IT.

Running 60 slaves here w/backburner with no stability problems but only 2 people have access to queue monitor. Also have setup a seperate user account that automatically runs the server as a service to prevent standard user accounts from mucking things up.

I use Deadline every day and love it, though I am a little biased

You can get an eval of two free nodes or a time limited version:

              http://software.franticfilms.com/ind...dline/freemode

Just to clear up any confusion, at the most, deadline is $130 a node and %25 more for a year of support and updates. The more nodes you purchase the less per node:

              http://software.franticfilms.com/ind...dline/purchase

I can get you in contact with the right guy if you need some info.
