  • Disabling Max 8 Error Reporting?

Hey folks! Just wondering if anyone out there knows a routine to disable the error report dialog in Max 8? VRay crashes my machine fairly frequently when I don't pay attention to my RAM usage, and I'm a little tired of having to cancel this dialog every time it happens. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Just a guess but there is a file in the root of max called "SendDmp.exe" probably short for send dump file, you might try removing or renaming that one.

Thanks bunches and bunches, dudes -- the office will love being able to kill the bloody error reports.

Ran into some issues with renaming the file here at work, some of our scripts made max reference that file for some unknown reason, maybeautodesk is keeping tabs on all of us max users

Anyways seems to be fixed by creating a text file and renaming it SendDnp.exe , Maybe somebody wants to write a relacement exe that sends autodesk a message to mind their own business! :P
