  • good textured 3d models of clutter

We have just purchased the Intero Visuals 3d furniture library and are impressed with the quality of the models. The great thing is that they are all pre-textured with vray materials. A few tweaks need to be made, but in general, they are good.

What we are now after is similar quality models of general 'clutter'. You know the stuff: clocks, plates, knives and forks, coffee machines, hats, coats, magazine racks, newspapers, pictures, mirrors, wine glasses, bottles, cans etc etc etc (need I go on?)

Can anyone suggest a good library of clutter?
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

Evermotion is your answer. They do a few DVD's worth of clutter.

Vol 2 - Gadgets - not textured but nice models
      Vol18 - Home clutter
Vol 19 - more home clutter
      Vol 20 - office clutter

      It is great stuff.

      Cheers Peter.

We have most of the Evermotion volumes including the gadgets and stuff. The model quality is quite good. A little too high rez at times. Their more recent volumes include Vray materials but you should check to make sure the setting they use are appropriate for your use. I often find their glossy subdivision values are excessive (50).

My only significant complaint is their naming conventions or lack thereof. Objects are named something like obj49, obj50 etc. Theyre really not set up for drag and drop kind of use. You'll have to take care to work them into your conventions.

For the money they are quite a bargain considering the quantity of models, materials, file types and quality of models. And the ability to download the whole DVD content after you order can really help when you're on a tight deadline. Their customer service is good too.
