    Powerpoint and movies

    I have this one movie that is the same format as everything else I have done.....When the movie plays in PP, the movies actually shrinks in the Horiz. direction......squashing the movie and it becomes choppy.....Has anyone else ever experienced this.

    not to sure whats going on, but what kind of movie files and codecs are you using to import in to PP?

      divx codec and they are just avi files. the other file in the PP is the same codec and stuff..I tried redoing the png to avi from adobe and I still get the same result....I shall post the movie....

        I've had issues with Divx endcoded AVIs too. In the end I convert them to WMVs to use in Powerpoint.

          As a little side note I would highly recommend xvid over divx, its faster, does a better job, and doesnt cost anything.

          Plus it now has partial SMP in the unstable build so its takes advantage of multiple cores.
