MMORPG's Who is addicted?

Well I can say I have tried a handful of MMORPG's and was at first able to dodge the "being sucked in" until just a few months ago. I have tried the following games:

Guild Wars
World of Warcraft
Everquest 1 &2
Shadowbane
Lineage 2

While I wasn't to impressed with WoW or EQ I kind of got stuck on Lineage 2, why lineage? I have no idea... I guess the graphics and quality of game play sucked me in recently. Now I have never been one to agree to pay-to-play games and have found many servers who offer free “legal” online play with MMORPG's like the project L2j.

So I was starting to get sick of the servers I was playing on as the economy was shot to hell by crap GM's. So I started http://www.bttournaments.com/L2 , Now I run my own server and am able to adjust game that would work for the masses...

A mate and I have just started in NWN2, gonna play coop all the way thru. We did the first one playing about 7 hours a night once a week for say 10 weeks as we didnt always get 7 hours worth.
Actually as sad as this may be to admit, we are planning on take a 2-3 days off work to bunker down and finish it

I know technically its not a online RPG but still, its worth mentioning

We havnt dared to get into WOW yet, I have seen many people spend ALOT of time in that game... *cough* Lele *cough*

you guys need to try out http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ for some blast from the past kind of games. the VGA remakes of kings quest were great and my favorite is something called the apprentice and part2. cant wait for part3 to come out. the game engine is also free online and easy to learn, im making a small asterix game for fun

actually i was fooling around with a danger mouse game a while back then dropped it since i wasnt that interested in it. for asterix and obelix ive made quite a few backgrounds but have not done anything special with the interface and im using the default character graphic since i havent drawn asterixs walk cycle yet. http://www.elfpro3d.com/Asterix/Asterix.zip (you need to convert it to a rar since my server is messed up and rar's come out as code when clicked on for some reason). this only has 1 puzzle though. try to get the frog. thats about it for now. there is alot more to the story than that though. its just that i need to get all the backgrounds finished before i start doing proper coding and honestly my film takes up alot of my time

I hate to admit it but Ive been in guildwars pretty much since the beggining and have two accounts for Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall.

I played a MUD throughout most of college and a few years after. I played EQ for about 4 years. Played EQ2 for a few months and didn't enjoy it as much.

Currently I play WOW and enjoy it because of some friends that play. Other than that I would prefer to play things like Neverwinter Nights or Final Fantasy (not the online one).

Of course King's Quest was always awesome, especially when the Batmobile came out of the witches' cave. Was that 1 or 2? I always enjoyed the Secret of Monkey Island games too!

Those were some great games. Even the 3d one wasnt that bad... come to think of it im not sure i ever finished the 3d one...hmmmm
