Looking for script

please, if somebody knows an script for MAX/VIZ can pick only horizontal faces...I'm working on an animation of one building and the context is just blocks...I'd like to apply generic facade textures for the night shots and an aerial map to the roofs.

any idea?

the context model it's around 300 buildings with a lot variation in heights then it is very difficult to pick the horizontal planes

there is some commercial script...was it selection master ?? dont remember, but it allowed for normal based selection

If it is only buildings (box shapes) you need to select these faces on, why not just turn on ignore back-faces and select from the top view. This will not work if you have lots of sloped roofs or other building parts of course.
