That's true, but unfortunatly all my slaves doesn't have EMT64 so I can't run anything in 64bit mode on any of them. However i would like to work on a 64bit workstation, but at this point backburner doesn't allow a direct submission from 64bit to 32bit slaves. They say I can install 32bit version on my 64bit workstation too, and then everytime I render I should save the scene in 64bit max and open it in again 32bit max, and then submit to the slaves, but that it totally ridiculous.

So far we just made sure that Deadline does what it needs to for a hybrid network and haven't performed any tests to find variations with rendering engines rendering on a hybrid network. Eventually we will transition over to 100% 64-bit primary Workstations/ Slaves but will still have a 32-bit portion of the farm for a while . That's the main reason Deadline is setup the way that it is and will allow you to choose how the job should be distributed. There is a little drop down list to "Force 3ds Max Build" and the options are "none, 32bit, 64bit" so even if you have a hybrid Pool you can get the machines you need for the job.

Anyone have a good scene to test?

      Best regards,
