Video previewer/property viewer/thumbnailer software?

I'm trying to find some type of thumbnail software that works with animations and video files rather than just still images.

Ideally, it would allow you to watch the video easily but also give you bitrate, resolution, pixel aspect ratio, length, etc. easily.

Basically it would be like ACDSee but for video not photos --- ACDSee supports video but reveals almost none of the above properties.

Anyone heard of something like this?

Irirdas products are widely used in big productions: Framecycler works exceedingly well on both single images, sequences and movie files.
It reads most formats without blinking (exr, rla/rpf quicktimes, avis in pretty much any codedc and so on), and is able to write most formats to disk (albeit with some limitation).
Price may be an issue, however, coming at a steep 249 USDs per ONE personal license.

it previews hdrs, can scale the display and tile images for preview

edit: imagen shows the info you want but in a pop-up, its not a thumb viewer
