we are going to animate wire/cable in different situations, what are the best method of doing this? i'v tried reactor rope, but i cant get it to look like a wire, its too inconstant.. any advice?

i cant remember the correct term but there is a collision distance spinner than you can drop a heck of alot just dont go to 0

I would make the cable a bit thinner to sim then add a push modifier to get it back to size. Using too small a threshold for the collision gap can cause sticking and make sim time longer.
