yeah, I got a 30 day version of v. 3.0 - unfortunately it ran out before I finished my research.

Don't know if I should ask for an extension...

oh.. and BTW - if you need it now, call them... it took them a couple of weeks to reply on my email request.

hey! i am most impressed by the service and helpfulness of peter over at see3D.
i already got my trial key and a lot of useful info regarding the VR scene. thumbs up for see3D!

jonas, you must have made your inquiry at a bad day
peter also informed that quest will have a major point release mid 2007, so you have somthing to look forward to!

i feel i've been converted from an Anark fan to a Quest fan now

let's see what quest has to offer...

              See3D... you mean Act3D, right?

They were very helpful to us too - but needed a phone call.

If and when you get some test scenes up and running drop me a PM, maybe we can share experiences - I'm trying to find a good workflow for importing and setting up scenes, mainly for walkthroughs. Also fiddling with the whole texturebaking issue.

                umm, act3D? no, it's these guys : www.see3d.be

yeah for sure, i'll drop you a pm when i get there!

i'm deep in the shit tonight with a deadly deadline - but got a meeting tomorrow with a client regarding the whole VR issue.
gotta convince them that vr4max is not the way to go - as peter said :
                vr4max is way to limited.
sharing is always good! you're into walkthroughs, i'm into product viz - guess we got it all covered haven't we?

                i'll keep in touch!
