which version of Windows xp for viz2005, 3ds8, vray

Hello all, I want to buy windows vista but I don't know which version I have to take. I wan't to install on it viz2005, 3ds8, vray, photoshop SC.

Don't.

Vista takes far more resources than XP, which means less resources available to Max/Viz/VRay.

Also, there have been a lot of problems and a lot of people haven't been able to get Max (and probably Viz) working on Vista.

as vista is released in something like a week or so, i think if you buy a new version of windows (from some suppliers at least) you'll get a 'vista coupon', which means you get a free upgrade to vista when it's released. all you've got to pay is something like 8quid for the postage.

and for added power nothing wrong with xp64. works fine for me.
