  • render mask script (option)

    hello there

I use the script "render mask" from "http://www.tepavicharov.com/scripts.html" a lot. the only thing that bothers me is you can't render a mask from an object with an opacity map on it. well you can render the mask, but it renders only the object but not its opacity map. is it possible to make a script that can do that? that would be great and would make my life easier.

    thanks for ideas.

    best regards

That script is infinitely better than my own crap version I made (mine destroys all of the materials) - however I can't get it to work with vray... Only scanline.

      I get Unknown property: "colorMapping_gamma"

      Any ideas?

hm... I never had an error. scanline is a lot faster either...
what colormapping did you use for the test?

Whatever is default - linear multiply 1.0 1.0

Actually - using logic the script contains information for a colorMapping_subpixel value, so it must be because I'm using 1.47.03.
