Hi guys,
I am working on a Revit DWG linked into VIZ2007.
As the model grows, VIZ takes 1/2 hour to do a reload.
Also, when I isolate a layer and apply a material to the content, VIZ sits there for minutes before to do it (well, yes, with a lot of objects).
Since I am working on a pretty good workstation (Dell Precision 690, 2 Xeon @ 3.72Mhz each, 3 Gig RAM), I am wondering if I am doing something wrong, or mayeb something got corrupted in the software.
Anyone using this workflow (Revit's DWG linked into VIZ2007) that experiences these types of slowdowns for large files?
Any way to speed up VIZ? I mean, V-Ray renders fine, the bottleneck is VIZ handling the model....
Thank you
regards
gio
