NodeJoe-Schematic Material Editor for Max-public Beta
I've been waiting and begging for this for a long time... there was one for Max 4/5/6 but it was really buggy and the interface not as nice... but this... wow!
you can shift-drag to clone a node, might get you around the bug, provided it's a copy and not an instance, which i dont quite know yet.
Also, del key doesn't work, with vray as renderer the bigger previews don't render, using a simbiont MATERIAL (map works well) will crash max both with vray (before the mini preview's rendered) and with the scanline (just after the mini preview's rendered) upon .dsts load.
Rendering in vray with the thing open leads to mini-preview corruption, much as it happens with multi-subs (don't know if it's max or vray, tbh.)
Overall it's cool though.
If they can expand, getting deeper into the material spinners and values, so to be able to wire them from inside this window, it can really become something.
