      HOLY DIVER!

that is by far the most amazing thing i've seen in...in a loooong time!

170 kb. ?!!? it's magic, a lot of precalc'ing, but still magic if you ask me...

gotta love the andromeda reference, ad astra ad infinitum - andromeda power

great find daForce, nice site, so many sweet memories!

god, this was discouraging, i was just about to start coding on my realtime teapot again

haha, yeah right, my rotating teapot is almost 800 kb.

          this is embarrasing....

Farbrausch rocks...and debris rocks pretty hard too. Didnt check the demoscene recently, so thanks for the heads up

I was following a '26kb or less' competition which was going on in the demoscene a while back, and that was utterly insane.

I'd love to know how they do it.

on that topic i guess mentioning krieger would be a good idea in case ppl dont know it. It's an (admitable relativly simple) 3d shooter game in 96kb

It's quite old already actually, but given the size of 96kb it's visually and and gameplaywise incredibly complex :

As a note, the textures in the above posted debris demo were done with werkkzeug3 wich is a creation kit done by theprodukkt. here's info on the first version:

                        unbelievable..
the fact that its 176 k is irrelevant really - its a great story with excellent art direction, editing, fx, texturing etc - moody visuals and quite menacing

as for 176 k - I just dont understand how its remotely possible

Great. This moving town reminds me of a "Dark City' movie.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
