backburner 'buffer overrun'

I'm trying to render out a quick test animatic using max9/vray rc4/backburner 2007.0.2_224 but keep getting an error message 'buffer overrun' followed by the manager bombing out.

Anybody got any ideas as to what I've done wrong?! I'm completely at a loss....

I can't really help you, but this error message typically appears when there is a bug in the program. You should probably report this to Autodesk.
