3ds MAX 9 (64bit) on Windows Vista Ultimate (64bit)

Hello,

Have tried to install Max on my new machine with Vista Ultimate 64bit, unfortunately when i insert the DVD, the setup offers only 32bit instalation of MAX...

Had anyone else experienced that?

Is there any workaround? Is it max or vista issue?

Start the installation directly (should be in the \Installs\3dsmax_x64 folder of the DVD). I believe this is because 3dsmax is not officially supported on Vista yet, so the installer does not recognize it.
