    does anyone got expiriance with that software?
    can you import 3ds or max files straight into it?
    somone asked as to deliver 3d pdf of products, and i'm lookingg into it.

    From within Max 9 under the 'File' menu you can export to DWF, which is Autodesk's response to a PDF. The DWF viewer is a free download and you have the ability to turn on and off layers or objects, dependant on how you export. You also can look through your cameras. Unfortunately lighting doesn't seem to come through all that well, but what more can you expect.

    As for a 3d PDF, I'm not really sure.

      Yes,

      You can- you just have to have a registered copy of Max on the machine you install Acrobat 3d on.

      It comes as two apps, toolkit and acrobat 3d.

      open toolkit
      load file
      save it as a .u3d file
      launch A3d
      file-import done.

      They claim you can 'print screen' off of any OpenGL stream right into Acrobat 3d, but I've found it spotty at best...
