File link manager

When using the file link manager to link an autocad file to max, suddenly the curves are not as smooth as they should be. I am not aware of changing any settings? Where is the setting that I need to adjust? In max or in autocad? Thanks!

Ok...just saw in an old post that it is the Surface Deviation parameter...but where can I change that using the file link manager? Importing directly a dwg and the option is in the first window.

open file link manager
pick tab presets
create a new preset and click modify

There you have all the settings you would normally have when you would import directly.

In the tab attach, choose the preset.

You can also refine splines by choosing refine in the segments sub-element and clicking on the place you want it to be smoother.
