align in max

is there any command in max, that similar to the align in autocad?

there are a few: align, normal align, align to camera or view.. you find them under "tool" in the main tool bar.

thanks claude, trying to make it work now, although it seems like not working with max 9. do you use it as well?

yea.. i use it all the time .. try using with 3dsnaps. eg virtex, end midpt etc..

not that, i can't even find it in the customize user interface. you copy all the script and run it right/?

sorry i am not so familiar with script claude, can you elaborate about the installation, i don't quite get what the creator wrote there.
