unwrapping paper animation?

Does anyone one had any experience with animating unwrapping paper (chocolate or present)? I would apprieciate any tips.

I once tinkered with a box opening.. like the top flap.

I foudn it rather easy to use morph targets.

You great say a wrapped state then an unwrapped state and a few intermediate stats and you use the morpher to blend between them making it looks lke its unwrapping itself.
