Thir forum and its cookies

I seem to have nothing but problems with this forums cookies. Ever since the first day I have come here I have had to empty my cache & cookies every single time I log in other wise it logs me in but leaves me at the login screen. If I log in again at this point it takes me to the main forum page but removes all the new notifications from the various sub sections.

In order for me to see the changes I have to empty my cache and cookies before I log in - its rather frustrating. I am using Firefox.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I'm also using FireFox and no problems like this... which version do you have? I had a problem like this for the truespace beta forum though, and I remember I had to change some cookies settings (like "remember cookies from all sites" or something like this).

I had something similar in IE when the changed the domain that the forum is hosted at, can't remember what fixed but I think it was an old cookie or a listing in the hosts file. You might try clearing you cookies and cache folders.

I use firefox too nowadays and have never had a problem.

I am using firefox 2.0.0.4 on my laptop, my 4 pcs and my work pc. They all exhibit the same problem! hmmmm

I wonder if it is the link that I have...

update: I checked the link I was using and it was to www.chaosdimension.com.....

I think maybe this is the problem.

Ah, yes. This would be a problem. You'll need to use chaosgroup.com instead.
