I saw the film last week and It was looking like a big commercial for the american milirato-industry for the Middle East. Not to mention the scenario for retarded teens. Made me sick. (Nice CG, anyway :P )

.....you're forgetting it was also a commercial for GM, Mountain Dew, Nokia, and a few others. at least those are the ones I remember off hand. ...but mainly GM, every car was a GM car.

                  + Dell, HP, etc.

Totally agreed... This film was a big commercial.

Why do we have to pay to watch commercials ???

(I'm not saying that film was a total crap (just a below average one ) but i hate to be carpet bombed by brands during a movie)

I think people should just accept it for what it is, its based on a cartoon and has a ridicilous story - yes it may lack moral fibre and intellectual depth but its a cgi fest and thats why I love it- purely for the 3D.
much needed after the disappointment of 300

i think as someone above says that for a story kept by a cartoon is well developed following the love story of the two teen agers and going on with fun and action situations plus huge special effects, good rythm the film has and for the time it needs over two hours if u never get boring mean the film gots its effect/result.
Yes surely the story is not a best in the cinema history, but it is a nice film in my opinion, and very well done considering the stupid subject they used, and i say again they made true the robots this is a fantastic aspect for a man growed up with robots cartoons series like atlas ufo robot (GOLDRAKE), mazinga, daitarn III, and so on.

Yeah totally agree as a "movie" it was ok. As a CG showcase, well it has yet to be topped. Fantastic CG.
But really its a movie based around transformers.. how good can it be really. hahaha

Kinda like the TMNT movie. That CG was brilliant, the movie was just a LONG tv episode.

Yes...Well...All aside...I loved it...But I was expecting a action packed movie and mediocre story....And once again I forgot to stay till the VERY END after the credits...DAMN....

Yeah usually when the cinema lights stay off during the credits mean there is something coming

Cant recall what it was at the end but im pretty sure I sat thru them.
