Hi folks i'm having a bit of a nightmare,
I've got 4 dell optiplex 745 desktops with only 2GB of ram as render nodes. As i understand it to fully utilise them i need to install the 3BG switch. Once i instsall the switch i can't get it boot properly. It won't recognise users or network, wants to re-register windows and looks like it's only displaying 8 colours or something.
Heres what my boot ini looks like but I'm sure this isn't the problem.
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOW S
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Pro" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP /3Gb" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /3GB
I also have a GX620 but it works fine. I have read on the dell site and here http://www.ironcad.com/support/commu...ml&f=12&t=4415 that others have had similar problems but know one has posted a resolution.
Has anyone here had this problem and most importantly has anyone resolved it. Please Pease Please
