I would like to have script which permit to pick a colour from the screen in ex on a map to the mtl editor.
this would save many many time no need to open the bitmap in PS and pick colour.

Did you know that if you use Max to view an image you can right click to pick the colour value & then drag & drop it into a colour slot?

It's not perfect but it's handy!

max9 sp2 has the color picker FINALLY working like you want, Laurent.
Pull up the color picker as usual (clicking on the color), then use the eyedropper tool, and it will work on ANY part of your visible screen.
This alone made my sp2 update worth it.

I knew for the color picking in the map, but this isn't enough speed IMO.
