  • Object won't move in scene

Has anybody had this problem before (or maybe I'm missing some setting somewhere), some objects in my scene won't move at all, but they're not frozen either. I have checked and double checked, and they're definately not frozen. Even cloning them doesn't make a movable copy! Aaahhhhh... what's going on!? Never had this happen before.

Some objects came direct from AutoCAD files, if that makes any difference?

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the may have some weird controller applied like a path constraint or something?

        Hi, thanks for the replies.

No controllers applied beyond the norm - no space bar issue either I'm afraid.

        Damn it's weird!

Yes, I DOES make a difference ... lots of "funny" things may happen when you import ACAD objects

I would check under object hierarchy if movement is locked.

Hi Codi, How would I check that? 'H' key, 'Display Subtree'? I did find a couple of dependents that way, though they didn't appear to be locked. Strikes me I'm doing the wrong thing/looking in the wrong place

            Thanks

              I mean this menu:

Move, Rotate and Scale Locks must be unchecked if you want to modify them.
