  • Convert frames to Video?

Does anyone know the best way to convert a folder of images into a video file? I rendered an animation into frames using Vray with several computers but i don't know how to turn the image sequence into a single video file.

    Thanks,

You can load them into the RAM player and export them from there. Or if you have the Pro version Quicktime you can select "Open Image Sequence". But it's best if you have After Effects, Premiere, Combustion, or some other compositing program so you can have lots of control and play around with effects, editing, and such.

open max, then go into the render menu and choose ram player.

Then you can loaded in all your images and then save them out as an avi ro something.

The other option is to use something premiere, after effects, or pretty much any compositiing program.

There are also small cheaper/free program around the net that can do it as well.

Wow, i didn't know u could do that with the ram player, that is awesome. Thanks.

Is it easy to do in premier or after effects? or is that the way to get the highest quality version?

Well you could load it thru ram player, and save as an uncompressed avi then use what ever program your familar with to compress to what ever codec you prefer.

Or just do it thru ram player anyway.

I would save as say an un compressed avi then compress it using virtual dub mod but it really depends on what codec / format you want it in.
