  • Adobe Acrobat Pro vs Standard...

Well...We need to buy a bunch of Acrobats and the one things that is not clear is this...Back in the day with Acrobat 6.0, the largest paper size you could use was 11x17....And basically all we are using the Acrobat version is to create pdf's from Autocad, and other programs...What are your thoughts? Can we get the STANDARD or the PRO... $200 difference..

    Thanx

Neither. There are plenty of free apps out there that you can install as virtual printers and print to PDF. Um.. PDFCreator comes to mind. It's Open source and you can set up any paper size you wish using the postscript paper option.

we recently went to the Pro version for the sole reason of signing our PDFs with a digipad - only pro will allow you to do that. Before, we survived on standard just fine. AutoCAD now has a PDF maker built-in, but you can also grab PDF995, too.
