  • Oject or Material ID + Photoshop workflow question

    Hey guys,

I've been messing about with object and material ID's today. Basically I'm trying to render out a scene and have seperate selection layers (alpha channels) for materials or objects in photoshop. Is there any way to render out seperate alphas for materials/objects/layers to bring into photoshop?

I tried the VRayMtlID and VRayObjectID render elements but they just give me another image with different colours for the materials or objects, I'm not really sure how these could be used Does anybody have a good workfflow method for what I'm trying to do?

Any help with this would be great!

Wirecolor render element gives you something more useful, but you have to give your wires some distincts colors...
