I have several tips to make it work My sys based on win2k3 x64 - works flawlessly.
To fix installer (don't know why they're using this damned IS):
1)===>> start -> run -> gpedit.msc -> computer config -> windows settings -> security settings -> software restriction policies. Right click this, new policy. Now doubleclick enforcement and select 'all users except local admins' at the bottom.
To start the game (yeah they have problems here too haha):
2)Download and replace original .exe
