Then the question is how you backup 4TB? 1000DVD's??

I personally have a huge problem with all the exr files of an animation. (..and NO!, we dont need RPF files anymore to fill our drives *g* )

Cool, but it's funny that they are stating it holds 1 million songs?!? Really, who has that many songs or even has time to listen to that many songs or has enough cash to legally own that many songs. At just 3 minutes a song that's 3 million minutes or 50,000 hours or 2083 24/7 days of continuous listening. And at 15 songs per album with a modest price of just $10 per album, that's well over $500,000 worth of music! I realize that a lot of music is downloaded and traded illegally but even at that the time necessary to just download that amount of music is staggering. I'm sure everyone here can see the need for larger hard drives but when I see stories like this I get sick. There's more to hard drive storage than how many songs it can hold - what about the increased drive space making fully uncompressed 24bit audio a standard (or something similar), multi-channel audio, different data streams embedded in the audio for different playback techiniques, multiple tracks for at home editing, etc., etc.???
