3dsmax priority = below normal

Is there a way to set 3dsmax to always run in below normal priority even when run from backburner? I have my shortcut changed to

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c start "viz2008" /belownormal "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\VIZ2008\3dsviz.exe"

Which works great but I'd like it to run below normal priority when started with backburner so I can continue working on other things while I'm rendering a que

there's a thread around here somewhere, but we did it with a script from scriptspot. You just sprinkle it around in pluggins/startup and it automatically makes them low priority...

you need to spawn your server to be in /belownormal command then the max spawned from that will also be in the same mode.

If it's in your startup scripts, then whenever Max is launched in "server mode" (eg. backburner or VRay's DR) it will run in low priority mode. No need to change Shortcut paths or any of that easily breakable mess.
