  • face animation

I've got a character to animate, she has morph targets on her face for A, E, U, O, P, smile, frown and blink only.

I tried putting her audio through ventriloquist but the result is fairly... average. I dot need hyper realistic but i just need it to look good and well timed.

I think the problem is that auto lip sync software does not actually map to the vowel sounds properly, they use a whole different set of mouth shapes. But my model has these setup unfortunately.

So i'm looking for some advice as to how to get her animating nicely, and easily. Or someone who can do it for me Perhaps some other software is better, or perhaps someone can re do her morphs to be more suitable, the original model maker is awol.

I would suggest taking a look at the book Stop Staring.

Here is a link on amazon.

It shows some good technique if you are interested in doing it yourself.

most automated programs really don't work nearly as well as doing it the old fashioned way.

I'd be interested in looking at the model but can't promise anything since I'm pretty booked up now. you can send me a personal message if you like.
