MAX modelling ---> cad / for elevations/section

Was wondering if anyone here knows a good plugin/workflow for getting the 3DSTUDIOed model file into section/eles...etc back to cad?

apparently Rhino does this readily/easily.

Maybe using procutter (compound objects) ? U draw a spline, then do an array and cut your object.
I saw a plug for rhino which is capable of doing this just great. You can export to rhino your mesh and the use this plug. It seems for me that you can't use max to do this...

I might be misunderstanding this but can't you just use the section tool in MAX.
