  • PFlow rendered differently in slaves

I'm trying to render simple pflow scene with V-Ray.
Some machines are giving different looking frames. Particles are
not in same place. All renderers are identical, hardware and software.

Any idea how to fix it?

I'm not sure is this V-Ray related, so I posted this to off topic.

Yup it's an annoyance - you have to check stuff like whether the machines are using the decimal dot or a comma in their regional options - it affects your random numbers and can cause pflow to make different results - ideally you use box #3 and cache the files before rendering but it doesn't work perfectly.

If the particle system relies on any random seeds I believe it can get a different random number on certain platforms.

I don't think that cache will help, because there
is about million particles and 2000 frames. Cache file
        could be too big.

Anyway, thanks for confirming that it's common thing and
there is no reason or too many reasons why it happens.
