  • movie set tips

    hi there,

next week will be the first time where i have to go to a clients movie set, for supervising the 3d part of a job.
i'am honestly not sure which points i have to manage.
    i will:

    - allocate tracking points
    - notice light setup, locations
    - looking important

are there any points/tricks i have to take care of?
any tips would be very appreciated.

thanks in advance and best regards

Just walk around with each of these around your neck, and you'll do fine

make sure you walk up to the camera operator frequently and ask annoying questions like: "What f-stop you running that thing at?" "Oh really?" "I'd knock it down a notch or two, if I were you." etc etc

Make sure you give the director 'hints' on how to make his shots better too.

And constantly say 'oh, youre filming it like that? hm... I wouldnt have, but oh well, you are the director!'
